The SHOPHOUSE gals are dog lovers. Not a day goes by where we don’t stop dog owners on the street to pet their dog or gawk from across the way. Weirdos? Maybe a little.
As best friends since our high school years, we know each other in, out and backwards. For B’s wedding shower I bought this print and had it framed at our framer of choice, Frame Fatale. A fun homage to her relationship with her now husband and their fluffy Golden Retriever.

We love accessories, and lately we are on a ring kick. A statement ring is really starting to become a necessity for any fashionista. Here are our picks (first post of a two part installment) to really start a conversation.
A local Philadelphia favorite from Concrete Polish.
This three finger ring is sure to stop anyone in their tracks.
Free People is always a great resource for big jewels. We love the black stones in this ring, the gold and black combo makes it great for every day wear.
We try to get together with our friends at least once a week to catch up, drink some wine and make some delicious food. We love to cook, and we love to cook simply. We rarely follow recipes, we like to throw beautiful ingredients together and taste as we go. Last week we made a lovely eggplant dish and a side of Greek Salad, inspired by one of our Fitler Square haunts, Dimitri’s.
This recipe served 6 of us, and we even had some left over. Greens optional.
S H O P H O U S E Greek Salad
A few handfuls of cherry tomato
3 stalks celery, diced
1/2 red onion, cut into slivers
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 cucumber, skinned and chopped
1 container of feta cheese
1 pinch of salt, pepper and oregano
Combine ingredients onto a long platter and drizzle with red wine vinegar and olive oil. Serve while cold.
A huge part of our day to day work is designing some pretty amazing office spaces. We like our office design to be fun and make for a more collaborative work environment. We have been so lucky to design offices for numerous Inc. 500 companies as well as various other offices in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. Here are some office spaces that we just love.
We love the dark reception wall and use of reclaimed wood in this space. This simple and clean design is cool, but not in the ‘tried too hard’ kind of way.
What a strong entrance. This sign is just fantastic. The bench desking provides collaborative offices to do just that.
Industrial, modern and a bit glam. All the elements in this space come together perfectly. We will take this space any day of the week.
We recently designed an office with a similar feel. Partitioning off the space with glass is a great way to provide an open floorplan with some space for privacy.
One thing we always like to provide for our clients is unique art installations. This one gives us the feeling that a SUPERHERO just left.

Happy Valentine’s Day from SHOPHOUSE! With everyone giving and receiving flowers today, we figured this was the perfect post to share. One thing we love at SHOPHOUSE is flowers and one of the services we offer is floral arranging as part of our event styling. It is so much fun to come up with new and creative ways to arrange flowers. Here are some recent images we came across on Pinterest that we find really inspiring!
What a fun way to use vintage bottles. These would like lovely in a small outdoor space for a party!
Or try some old lightbulbs!
Not only do we love this space, we love the addition of pots filled with Paperwhites lining the stairs. A great way to add a little greenery to your space in an unexpected way!
We have been obsessing over the perfectly designed desk space for our office. We love the flowers, branches, antlers, etc. Recreating this desk set up seems easy with a trip to the flea market and the florist!
This month we love:
These hilarious coasters from Jonathan Adler. The Olde City location is a regular stop for us.
Mineheart is one of the most unique online stores. This rug is all kinds of awesome.
This wallpaper is one of our recent faves. We love all the styles Cavern Home has to offer.
